Roya lived in a number of places as a child, including overseas for 5 years before landing in Manitowoc, WI for Junior High. She settled in Madison after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Following graduation, Roya jumped right into the insurance industry. She obtained her Property & Casualty license in 1994 and has been growing her knowledge ever since. She has earned a number of higher designations including the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), API (Associate in Personal Insurance) and CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designations, which are recognized nationwide as important credentials that benefits both our agency and Roya’s customers. Her next goal is to obtain the CPRM (Certified Personal Risk Manager) designation. In addition to being licensed in Property & Casualty, she became licensed in Life & Health in 2004. Roya loves educating clients on coverage and exposures. She excels at helping them understand the value of the intangible and “the promise”.
Roya is a busy mom of two teenage boys. She loves live music and photography. She hopes to learn more about photography and videography and would love to be a Photoshop Master someday.
Something you might not know about Roya? She loves horses and as a child had a horse named Bobby. She periodically takes classes to still have them in her life. Her next adventure will hopefully be jumping lessons!
